La Grotta in Hochheim am Main

Very cozy restaurant. Delicious selection of food. We found the shed a bit overpriced. Otherwise all good. Friendly staff. You only have to calculate it yourself from the receipt if you want to pay individually. Nevertheless it was a cozy evening.

We ordered salad and pizza there on three days. The salad was different each time, once there were small pizza rolls, once the prawns had not been removed and the third time the prawns were without casing, but no rolls and no mozzarella with the salad, so it seems like a matter of luck what you get gets. The pizza is normal standard, nothing special. The interior is nice and cozy.

Always nice here, great, delicious food, nice, competent Junx in service and a cozy atmosphere, a bit like a short break in Italy.

Terrible service, long wait for bill. Food was ok but small pricey portions. This local guide will not come again.

At best only mediocrity. First of all: The dishes are excellent and well crafted! The service is sometimes more, sometimes less friendly. In particular, as a guest you can expect that the waiter can speak German - even if we are here in an Italian restaurant - right? Instead, he keeps throwing Italian words around and we don't know what he wants or said. Pity! Despite the previously advertised quality, our food was sometimes cold this time, the salad was too salty. Yes, we got a new salad without any ifs and buts and the food was reheated. Of course a shame anyway. We won't be here for the last time. But overall, expect a little more. Maybe then again next time.

Favorite Italian Restaurant! I'm now a regular here since they made me feel like family from day one and always make for a fun experience when I'm there. The food is amazing and the setting is magnificent. Located in the central Altstadt for great outside dining during the warmer months!

Was the first time here. Delicious lunch. I had a tomato soup as a starter and there was delicious, fresh bread. Fortunately, the soup did not have the often so typical icing and the waiter did not stand with an oversized pepper mill rifle on foot. It was hot and tasty, not too much and not too little on a nice soup plate. As a main course, there were 3 different types of pasta, each with its own sauce. Also very tasty. The noodles looked homemade, but they did not have to be. The whole thing for 14.50 €. Price and performance were right. The staff was also very nice. Will go again.

First, you have to order a table. But the main problem is finding a parking space, we needed half an hour, but then we are in a parking garage. We were compensated with the food. There is a large selection offered and is delicious. The staff is very friendly and nice. If I'm close again, I'll definitely go back.

We have discovered this restaurant for us. Priced in the upper class, you will be served delicious and eye-prepared food for your money. In a relaxed tone you chat with the waiters who serve you in a friendly way. If we are here in Wiesbaden, we like to make a detour to Hochheim to eat here.

I do not have to go there again. We were there for the first time on Saturday evening. It was full. Maybe that was why the service was easily overstrained (wrong drinks were served and one came on demand). The food was ok, but I got better elsewhere.

Possibly the best spot in Hochheim for a late night drink and some pizza. The waiters appeared to be enjoying themselves, joking with us and dancing when the mood struck. They can be open as late as 5 AM depending on the number of people. Best spot for dinner and drinks in Hochheim!

Quick service and Good Food

Have only had one item on their menu, and it was great, as was my dining partner's meal. Decent prices and nice location for outside dining.
